Born in 1964 in Kolkata, Atanu completed his art education in Printmaking in 1992 at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. His works have been showcased in several solo exhibitions, including one at the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai in 2011 and another at the Society of Contemporary Artists Gallery in Kolkata in 2008. His art has been celebrated in both group exhibitions and solo shows, reflecting his artistic journey.
