The quests for art books in Bengali have come to end. The books titled ‘Bamapada Bandopadhyay’ and ‘Trailakyanath Deb’, the artists of 19th Century have become quite popular among the art lovers and students. Both the books released at International Kolkata Book Fair, 2023 are authored by Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya (Curator, Art Alinda). Another book ‘Mythological Oil Paintings: 19th & early 20th Century of Bengal’ composed by the author deserves special mention. All the books are published by Mandas.
